Context
Five PRs that merged on 2026-10-16, after iteration 5 (#19783), change what .github/RELEASE_NOTES/v13.3.0.md must say:
- #19805 (#19793): a filtered column's header shows the state. The menu arrow stays shown and filled, labelled "Filter , active", and a header without a menu draws its own mark. Locked columns are included.
- #19807 (#19806): the issues showcase's fixed-row mode shows each title and summary as one line cut with an ellipsis, instead of a slice from the middle.
- #19799 (#19798): header-wide state reaches the locked regions. One sort arrow shows across all regions, and runtime changes to
showHeaderFilters, sortable and useTriStateSorting reach locked headers.
- #19802 (#19800): a sort by a field named
index keeps every item. Before, it emptied the collection, as in examples/grid/covid's # column.
- #19803 (#19801): a
sortable: false header never sorts on click. Before, the covid table's # header still sorted.
The Problem
- The header-menus chapter describes "the arrow button that appears on hover or focus" but not that a filtered column keeps it shown, nor how a header without a menu marks its filter.
- Also in 13.3's locked-columns bullet stops at #19777.
- Neither sort fix is named, though both were reachable in shipped examples and apps before 13.3.
The Fix
In .github/RELEASE_NOTES/v13.3.0.md only:
- Header menus: after the sentence that lists the ways to open a menu, one sentence on the filtered state (#19805).
- What you can try, step 2: the fixed height now cuts each title and summary to one line (#19807).
- Also in 13.3:
- the locked-columns bullet gains #19799's runtime half;
- one new bullet for the two sort fixes (#19800/#19802, #19801/#19803).
The banner, the counts and the Full Changelog lists stay untouched: #19765's cut-prep (PR #19784) removes the banner and regenerates them at its head. That includes "The proof" count, which #19805's two new menu cases move. The screenshots stay. The Author frame's arrow sits under its open menu, and the Area frame already shows a filtered column.
Acceptance Criteria
Out of Scope
- The record-search toolbar (#19804, design review open). If it lands before the cut, an iteration 7 adds it. That iteration also removes the two lines that defer "a grid-level search toolbar", and moves "two opt-in settings" to three.

MC sweep: one query on this scope's nouns returned Grace's sweep record (the causes of #19798, #19800 and #19801) and the iteration-5 record; neither decides against this scope.
Own-assignment sweep: #19712 is the parent; nothing else overlaps.
